The party was fantastic. We had about 18 people come! My Mimi and Poppy even flew in from Virginia to be here for the big reveal! I got to hang out with my two best friends, Olivia and Madeline, too. What a fun night!

Here are some pictures from the party:

Playing dress up with Olivia - by the way, notice I'm wearing purple and pink? I was guessing girl every day until the day of the party and then guessed boy:

Chillin' out with Madeline:

Mimi frosted the cakes - one with pink frosting inside and one with blue frosting inside. We actually had to make three because silly Buster got half of one of the cakes that was baked, luckily we hadn't frosted them yet! Everyone got to fill out their guesses as to whether I would have a brother or sister, too! The results of the poll were very close, but GIRL won the vote.

Mommy and Daddy let me draw the name of the person that would get to go into the kitchen, open up the card that the ultrasound technician wrote the gender in and bring the cake out for them to cut into.

I actually picked Olivia's Mommy - Marta!!!

My Daddy let Mommy cut into the cake. She took one slice and couldn't see the inside. She took another slice and still couldn't, so she moved the piece of cake to the side to reveal the color. When she saw what color it was, she put the knife down and dropped her head in her hands and began crying with excitement! No one could tell what color it was because she never pulled the slice out of the cake! The suspense was killing us!

When she finally pulled the slice out, everyone cheered SO loudly! We even scared baby Mallory because we got so rowdy! There was so much excitement!

Needless to say, we were all thrilled!!

And now I must admit, that I guessed wrong!

I'm going to have a baby brother! Hooray!!
I just hope he doesn't give me coodies!

Congrats Wendy!

What fantastic news!! We're so happy for you and your family.

By the ready, get ready for some crazy pee mishaps. Changing diapers on a baby boy is always an adventure.

Hurray, a boy!

We had such a good time at the party! What an honor it was for me to be the one who was picked!

We can't wait until February!
