I can hardly believe it myself. I'm over 16 months old now! My Mommy and Daddy look at me every day and wonder how I got so big? I'm looking more and more like a little girl these days instead of a baby. I'm having so much fun because I'm learning something new every day. As I'm sure you've read, I'm already eating at the table with my Mommy and Daddy. I'm able to eat with a fork and spoon quite well, too! I am drinking better and better from a cup without a lid and no longer drink milk from a bottle. I'm still taking two naps a day, although that may change here in the next few weeks. I am also facing forward finally in the car, too! It just took me way too long to get to 20 pounds and maintain it!
I am saying more and more words every day, too! My favorites and most often used are of course: Mom-eee, Dad-eee, Buster (sounds like Buh-ber), nite-nite (sounds like nigh-nee) and baby. I also say lots of other words like: Amen, Elmo, ladybug, oops, pinch, pretzel, book, Dora, rainbow, up, star, PopPop, blanket, milk, dog and just about any other easy word that my Mommy and Daddy ask me to say. Of course, it doesn't sound exactly like the word just yet, but I'm getting there!
I am also able to sign a few words: please, more (and "more please"), all done, fish, dinosaur, hat, book and touchdown!.
If you ask me what these animals say I can make the right animal sound for them, too: cow, pig, chicken, rooster, bumble bee, goat, lamb, snake, monkey, dog, cat, horse, hamster, crab (pinch, pinch and pinch my tummy), bear, lion and duck. Some of these sounds are the same for some animals like the lion and bear are both "Roar!" and the goat and lamb are both "Baah, Baah!". I also make the noise "Vroom" for cars and planes!
I also love to play games like patty cake, the itsy bitsy spider and ring around the rosie and am able to do these games on my own now, too. I no longer have to just clap my hands for patty cake or have my Mommy and Daddy move them for me. I can do the whole thing on my own when my Mommy or Daddy sing it to me! I love these games! I'm also getting better at painting and coloring, too.

I'm also practically a runner now and I still love to dance. My rhythm is pretty good, too! One of my favorite songs these days is "Love is Free" by Sheryl Crow. When this song comes on I can't help but stop what I'm doing and bust a move with a big cheesy grin on my face!

I am still pretty small. At my 15 month checkup I was only 20 and a half pounds and about 29 and a half inches tall. I was in the 18th percentile on weight and the 23rd for height. Needless to say, I'm still wearing size 12 month clothes! I can also wear a few pair of my 6-9 month pants and some tops I can wear in size 18 months, but they're still a little big. In this picture, I'm wearing a 12 month onesie with an 18 month shirt and 6-9 month pants! I have some short legs!

All in all, I am doing really well and my Mommy and Daddy are impressed by me every day. I'm having such a fun time and I can't wait for the warmer months to arrive so that I can go and play outside without having to bundle up in 3+ layers!!
