I can't believe my birthday party has come and gone. It was a perfect day yesterday! The weather was beautiful and the company was even better. The day started magically with me taking a really long afternoon nap. I went to sleep before 2pm and my Mommy ended up waking me up a little after 4pm to get me ready since we had some guests arriving already.I got dressed up in my party dress that my Grammy bought for me (and that I LOVE) along with my pink and white polka dot bracelet my Mommy made for me! I got to socialize for an hour or so. Then, I got to sit in my throne while I ate dinner. Everyone made such yummy food, I was so full, but made sure to save room for cake! After dinner, I got out of my party dress, stripped down to my diaper with pink bloomers and wore my pearl necklace while I ate (or smashed) my cake!
After the cake, I got cleaned up and dressed up in my punk rock princess outfit. I loved my shirt that read: "One year olds rock!" and my striped leggings were so fun! I got to open my birthday presents after the cake, too!
I went to bed around 8:30 or so and didn't even make a fuss all day. As my Mommy and Daddy says, "I was a perfect angel!"Tomorrow I have my one-year pictures and Wednesday I have my 1-year checkup (with shots!). The best part is that I get one more birthday celebration on Wednesday (the 24th - my real birthday) when my Grammy and PopPop are coming in from Virginia. I'm so excited!!!
